While there are many good choices, including the convenience of kibble, there are some things to consider.
For shiny coats and less fur loss, you can use a raw diet. However, for a great diet, there are 4 foods we recommend.
Chicken, turkey, white fish or salmon mixed with kale. Then add a handful of Dr. Marty Goldstien’s food which is highly rated. Some dogs may be allergic to all four of these recommendations, in which case you can use a beef diet of raw hamburger or lamb. It should be noted that a raw diet, in some cases, can add more excitement to your dog’s behavior. If you have a dog presenting aggression, lower the protein content to about 20%. At this time we would also recommend contacting your vet for a blood test and overall medical screening within reason.
Remember there are farm animals raised for human consumption and farm animals designated for animal consumption. These are often Dead, Decaying or Diseased. Try and spend a few moments to review the ingredients in your favorite dog food.
